here goeees
Question one! Is it okay for characters to have extensive non-mutant but still superhuman powers? I'm apping DC's Cass Cain and in canon she has a way-beyond-human ability to read people's body language. Plus being a highly-trained martial artist and assassin. I thought of making the body language-reading her mutant power, but that messes up the bits of her history I'm lifting from canon (she was brought up without verbal language by an assassin father who trained her intensively so that the parts of her brain that would normally deal with speech were effectively taught body language instead). So...abilities that are non-mutant powers? I guess I'm just worried that she'll be over-powered, so just making sure where the limit is.

Question two! Cass can't really talk. She talks in short, broken sentences. And she can't really read and write! (And will need remedial classes, probably.) Will this interfere with gameplay? It should be fine if I rely on voice/video/picture posts, right?

/tldr (:
