Well, Mia would mostly want him to avoid anything so large it might scare/interrupt other students. If he wants to practice outside she might pick another teacher to keep an eye on him.

Dinosaurs are really cool, if he can turn into them pro for him! Just... realize that there are a lot of students that might go OHGODWHAT at it and there would be fire and explosions and all sorts of crazy.
