For the fifth week of class Brook will be passing out sheet music for one of Mr. Raffles' suggestions, which means that the world now gets to hear the Beatles set to a good half-dozen additional instruments that nature and Lennon and McCartney never intended. At least "Nowhere Man" is a bit more chill than Mötley Crüe, and so probably a bit easier for the less experienced kids to keep up with. Brook very much believes that keeping things at least mostly balanced out like that is important. B|
As a special bonus the class will be having another guest this week - none other than the infamously pantsless Woodshop teacher! Mr. Franky will be randomly dropping in to check on whether this whole thing is the complete disaster he (rightly) suspects it is, and likely making an entrance that will scar all your young and vulnerable retinas for life. Keep an eye out for that thread, if you would, as Brook has no eyes and cannot do so.
This week's average daily puns-per-class: 91
(If anyone wants to do a Band log again, we can probably just continue on the post from last time (http://community.livejournal.com/xi_rpg/84434.html). Just please mark your threads "week five" in addition to the character names and/or "OPEN" so we can keep track, should that ever be important.)

Mentor group remains silly and relaxed, with snacks and musical films for all. Yes, even young Mr. Edward, who Brook is only now privately beginning to consider far too serious for his own good. This is not something you want Brook to notice about you, and does not bode well for the future.
We've got one more week change until the week of Halloween, which I believe would be a fine time for our horrible Nightmare Before Christmas mentor group meeting. Slow-logging is of course perfectly fine, since everyone's going to be crazy busy and it's not like we don't know how the log will go if we have to refer to events before we finish it.
Band, Mentor Group
